What You Can Do on this Page

Find out if a prescription drug is covered as a brand-name product, a generic, or both.

  1. Covered drugs are listed in bold, blue format. Brand name drugs are in all capital letters, and generic alternatives are lower case, italic letters. In this example, both brand-name and generic drugs are covered.

  2. Dosage form indicates the dosage amount covered (e.g., 10mg, 1mg, and 2.5 mg tablets).

  3. Status indicates the type of drug.

    • Tier 1 - Generic
    • Tier 2 - Brand, which is a brand-name drug with no generic equivalent
    • Tier 3 - Multi-source brand, which is a band-name drug that has a generic equivalent
    • Tier 4 - Specialty Drug
