How to Enroll in SilverSneakers

To learn how SilverSneakers is addressing the COVID-19 situation, visit their website and click on the Coronavirus update banner at the top of the page.
The SilverSneakers® fitness program from Tivity Health, Inc. gives members enrolled in the HOP Medical Plan or HOP Pre-65 Medical Plan access to a fitness program at no additional cost. With SilverSneakers, you can join a local gym or take part in a fitness class designed specifically for seniors, which includes access to:

  • More than 13,000 fitness locations throughout the country.
  • On-demand workout videos led by a certified instructor on strength training, cardio fitness, yoga and stability.
  • SilverSneakers FLEX®, which allows you to participate in fitness classes right in your neighborhood. From a walking club to an aerobic dance class at your local recreation center, SilverSneakers FLEX brings the fitness to you. If you can't find a FLEX class near you, you can request a SilverSneakers FLEX location.
  • SilverSneakers Go mobile app—available from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The app helps you find the nearest SilverSneakers location, access workout programs, set reminders, view your Member ID number, and more! Read the SilverSneakers Go Flyer for download instructions.

SilverSneakers can help you live a healthier, more active life through fitness and social connection. You are covered for a fitness benefit through SilverSneakers at participating locations. You have access to instructors who lead specially designed group exercise classes. At participating locations nationwide, you can take classes plus use exercise equipment and other amenities. Additionally, SilverSneakers FLEX® gives you options to get active outside of traditional gyms (like recreation centers, malls and parks). SilverSneakers also connects you to a support network and virtual resources through SilverSneakers Live, SilverSneakers On-DemandTM and our mobile app, SilverSneakers GOTM. All you need to get started is your personal SilverSneakers ID number. Go to www.silversneakers.com to learn more about your benefit or call 1-888-423-4632 (TTY: 711) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.

SilverSneakers is free for Health Options Program members enrolled in the HOP Medical Plan and the HOP Pre-65 Medical Plan. Members enrolled in the Value Medical Plan do not have free access to SilverSneakers. Health Options Program members who enroll in a Managed Care Plan (Medicare-eligible or pre-65) may also have access to SilverSneakers. Contact the Managed Care Plan directly for more information.
